Description
Authentic Aboriginal Art Workshop by David DunnSuitable for a school, as a presentation at a festival, conference, or a similar event. Each 3 hour workshop includes:
Introduction to Aboriginal culture focusing on Wiradjuri people
Demonstration of Aboriginal art techniques and explanation of dreamtime story painting
minimum 2 hour art workshop with instructions and hands-on assistance given to up to 20 participants (larger groups should be split into multiple sessions)
The workshop is usually either morning or afternoon session, which would be scheduled to fit into your event's program. Teambuilding sessions can be arranged to suit your needs as well. Materials for the demonstration are included, workshop participants that want to create their own artwork need to supply their own materials (instructions will be given in advance). Event organisers have to cover costs if applicable (accommodation and travel) - this does not apply if event is within Albury-Wodonga region.
About David DunnDavid Dunn is a recognised Aboriginal artist with experience of over 20 years of exhibiting in Australia and abroad. David's workshops have been very popular recently with schools and at events such as the Man from Snowy River festival in Corryong.
