BULLROARERS

These hand painted bullroares showcase the beauty of the natural Australian sunset. The artwork includes the red kangaroo, Koopoo. The dotted circles which represent my signiture. They make great gifts and look gorgeous framed! Contact us if you're looking for a particular animal or color.
These bullroarers are made from a wooden laminate which is light weight, very strong & perfect. Instructions can be provided.
Each Bullroarer shows the use of the bullroarer itself, some depict and Aboriginal Elder swiging the bullroarer to ward of evil spirits, to let females know that the men are having a sacred mens meeting NO females allowed, and the other use is so that the hunters can scared the animals (roo, emu) into and enclosed area so it would be easier to kill. Traditionally these were used strictly by men. When swung rapidly by the string in a circular motion the bullroarer will let off a roaring sound.
