TRAINEE DRAFTSPERSON: Parker Hannifin is seeking the services of a Trainee Draftsperson to work within their Wodonga Manufacturing facility. This development position offers a four (4) year indentured position for the successful candidate who will have completed the requirements of the Higher School Certificate or VCE with good drawing/drafting results and who has a mechanical orientation. The successful candidate will be required to undertake further studies in Associate Diploma of Engineering (TAFE). You will be trained to assist with compiling and maintenance of drawings, preparation of bill of materials, cost estimates and technical inquires for quotation, liaise with suppliers, customers consultants or commission engineers concerning the design, installation or commissioning of assigned projects and other duties as defined by the Engineering Manager. Other desired attributes are sound written and oral communication skills, competency in the use of PC’s (Word/Excel) and most importantly a strong work ethic to provide superior customer service. A competitive salary based on experience and qualifications will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
